Trish and Katie met while pursuing their degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Valdosta State University. Their friendship grew stronger over their love for family, coffee, and their pets.
After working in the private practice setting together for 3 years, they saw a need for a clinic that was convenient for families of kids with all disabilities. A child needing therapy can be time consuming and their mission with Pediatric Therapy On The Go is to make therapy convenient for families with a busy lifestyle. Trish and Katie emphasize building relationships with the kids and families to increase functional communication across all environments.
Katie Rickard M.Ed., CCC-SLP
Katie is a speech language pathologist with a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She received a masters of Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Valdosta State University. She has worked in both school and private practice settings. Katie has experience working with kids of a variety of disabilities including AAC, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Apraxia, Articulation or Phonological Disorders, Down Syndrome, Receptive-Expressive Language Delays, Stuttering, and Pragmatic Language Disorder.
Katie enjoys spending time with her family, coffee, and reading. She also enjoys laying around with her 4 year old golden-doodle.
Trish Sumner M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Trish enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her fiancé. She loves iced coffee, her dog Chaco, and the beach.
